I’ve waited decades to be able to write full time, so the thought of having to set up and manage websites, promote blog posts, manage advertising and all the other mundane tasks associated with being a writer in today’s publishing world ... no, thanks.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve circled all these tasks for over a year but kept hitting this wall: I’m not a tech gal and the time investment to learn how to do these tasks ... well, it’s writing time I’d never get back. Just setting up MailerLite to handle my free monthly Newsletter of short stories took forever ... and a pile of screen shots so Chat GPT could translate all the techno babble for me.
And then along came Chat Agent. If she was human, I’d kiss her. In roughly an hour, she set up my new website Deb's Quill, got my MailerLite subscription form embedded, and helped me activate Google Analytics. For now, everything on my website is free, but if I ever need to change that, Chat Agent will set up connections to applications like BookFunnel, PayPal or similar ... all with minimal input by me.
Last thought: I used to think Chat GPT was only for research and illustrations for my kids’ stories. But now, with Chat Agent, it’s so much more. It’s handling all the annoying, creativity-numbing chores that get in my way.
If you’re a writer looking to spend more time with your characters, and less time wrestling with websites or social media platforms, let Chat Agent help you, too.
